So I dig out my much older than my desk top-lap top, and try to plug it into the Internet (because for some reason our wireless quit working). What??? Still not working!!! I call the phone company again and spend another hour on the phone trying to make it work. By the conclusion of the call, my Internet is working on my lap top but only temporarily! Qwest customer service says there is something wrong with my DNS and the only way she could get my Internet to work was by having me change some code to a temporary setting that would only allow my Internet to work for MAYBE a week. Everyday I just keep hoping my Internet is going to work that day. Very frustrating to say the least. Anyone know of a really good, in-expensive tech guy that can fix both my computers???
On to happier news...my little coco puff is a year and a half old. He is so much fun, and keeps J and I entertained. He is being such a little trooper, he's got 4 teeth coming in right now (2 top molars and the 2 bottom teeth next to the 2 front) and really hasn't been all that crabby, although he doesn't sleep nearly as well when he's teething. He has started repeating the words you say while you're talking (which any parent knows isn't always the best) He LOVES TV but his 2 absolute favorites (he'll watch the whole movie) are Tinkerbell (he must think she's hot) and Ice Age. It's really funny though because I just recorded them to my DVR so they both have commercials and Ice Age wasn't recorded off the Disney channel so it has adult commercials and if I'm not in the room when the commercials come on he comes and gets me and brings me back to the room to fast forward through the commercials for him. Cracks me up. He also loves "Hanny Manny", Pooh Bear and "Tigga" and calls both Elmo and Nemo, "Emmo". He is becoming a big boy so quickly. J caught him coming down the stairs on his belly, on Super bowl Sunday. And 2 days before that we were saying family prayers before J left for work and Co sat down and folded his arms and bowed his head for like 20 seconds before standing back up and resuming play. He also walks around saying "cool" to the things he likes and answers my questions with "ya" or "yep", "no" or "cause". J and I laughed when he answered my question of why he was crawling into the tub with "cause". He also answers with jibber jabber and that is something I will miss most about his age. I LOVE when he is just talking and talking and I can't understand a word but I pretend like I can. Don't get me wrong, I love that I can understand most of his words (which is probably 100+ words) but when he is jabbering sentences I love it. The past few days he also thinks he's big enough to step off things like out the front door (which he actually did) but I have a step in front of my tub (which is how he climbs in) and he tried to step off frontwards the other day and fell. Another funny thing he has been doing is learning what comes after things in a sequence so once he learns it he won't say the previous one (that was super confusing so let me give an example) He use to say 1 and hold up a finger but now when I say "Say 1" he says "2" and he won't say 1. When I say "Say I" he says "I" and I say "Love" and he automatically says "you", but he WON'T say love. So what really makes me laugh is when he's repeating the alphabet after me and I say "H", he says "H", I say "I" he says "I" "U" because now he thinks U always comes after I since it does in I love You. I just love being his mom, he is such a fun little boy. I tried to take 1 1/2 yr pics but he didn't smile in any of them so here is the best I have so far. Sorry for the long post!!! That's what happens when you don't blog in months.
