3 1/2yrs and 9 months

Wow! Turns out the only thing I'm good at posting is my kids stats at their check-ups and such. Maybe someday I will get caught up on ALL my posting. But today...is NOT that day:)

Cohen is officially 3 1/2. Recently he has started Sunbeams. The first Sunday was a little rough with holding still in his seat but he's gotten progressively better each week. He still tells me he wants to go to nursery though, because they have fun toys and snacks:) He's been doing really well at school and memorizing all sorts of things. He's also become rather good at lying. Definitely not a stage I'm loving. And we may FINALLY be reaching the end of potty training! Yea! I know you may be thinking 3 1/2...and he's not potty trained??? Well let me just tell you...until you have a stubborn little boy with a determination to do everything BUT potty train (because its what Mom wants instead of him) DON'T JUDGE!!! He went to the dentist for the first time and asked if he could go back for the next 3 days. We also considered starting him in Karate. We did 2 little intro lessons and he did really well. He broke his board and earned his white belt. But its totally expensive and you have to sign up for a year and until I know he's going to "want" to go on his own with out me convincing him to go I think we'll hold off for a while. Plus he'll be starting soccer in a few months, then t-ball then soccer again.



Shya is now 9 months old. I thought the time flew with Cohen but it has gone by so much faster with Shya. She's becoming such a big girl. At her 9 month appointment she was:

Weight: 16lbs 12oz (10-15%)
Height- 27 3/4in (60%)

Likes:
-Feeding herself, she loves everything...except mashed potatoes with sour cream in them
-army crawling and scooting on her bum
-drinking from a normal cup or through a straw
-taking off her socks, head bands or stretchy bracelets
-bathes
-constant entertainment
-her walker


Dislikes:
-being snuggled, rocked or anything that confines her to one position
-soft top sippie cups
