Birthday Hoorah's!

I was fortunate enough to go out 3 times for my birthday. Once with a whole bunch of my neighbors...which can I just brag for a min that my neighborhood rocks. Most of the neighborhood is 30's and younger, the average age child is prob 7, so lots of little friends for Co to play with and we do tons of neighborhood get togethers such as BBQ's, outdoor movies, dutch oven cook out, annual Christmas party, munch and mingle to collect winter items for the soup kitchen, neighborhood girls night out and quite a few of us go biking together. We LOVE our neighbors!!! Anyway, 2 of them organized a night out for us at "G's" for mine and another neighbors birthday, but it was on my birthday so it was extra fun night out for me. Plus I came home to a 2 layer birthday cake my husband had made for me, that he so nicely iced with pudding since most frosting makes me want to vomit.

Then I went to lunch the next day with a ton of my Bunco friends (most of them were my friends before I started my bunco group) which was super fun because we all had our kidos (except Amanda) and they all had a good time plus I loved our set-up of controlled chaos, which included 3 tables, 8 moms and 7 kids (6 in highchairs). It was a fun afternoon, after which we all agreed we need to do more often.

Then Friday night I went to dinner with my family to Red Robin. I LOVE Red Robin and I hadn't been in a while so I had been wanting to go. Coco LOVED riding the escalator like a big boy (meaning getting on and off while just holding my hand) while we were burning time waiting for our name to be called. And then he LOVED Red, the bird. While other kids screamed in Red's face, Coco wanted to give him high fives and kisses. Basically his dinner time was consumed by finding the current location of Red. Plus he had his first taste of soda. (Its puts a pucker on his face.)

Thanks to everyone for my fun birthday celebrations. It even made turning the ugly 26 fun!

Had so much fun going out to lunch for your b-day. I hope you felt loved! You're right, we do need to make a habit out of that. By the way, I saved you a couple of cupcake pops! Let's do something this week and you can try them.
