Its true that Co is no longer an actual baby but there is no reason he can't still play in his good ol' infant carrier I was so fond of. I just can't belive how big he looks in it now. Yikes!
He hit his 21 month mark a few weeks ago, so it will seem like a matter of days before my "baby' turns 2! He is so grown up from last summer, which is fun, but sad. He is so stinking smart, sometimes too smart, and learns more and more everyday. The week after I had gotten home from our trip (3/21/09) to be exact, he was jumping on our neighbors trampoline when all of a sudden he said "One, two thee, four, sic, seven, eight, ten!" 8 out of 10 in order is pretty good for a 1 year old. I was completely shocked. I count with him all the time but he's never counted to 10 by himself. And he actually knows 5 and 9, because sometimes he just say, five, sic, five, sic or nine, ten, nine ten. He also has learned more of his letters, signing more words to his songs and is talking in more complete sentences. When we were in Fallon, there were a few times I noticed he was getting so much better. On one instance I was doing my hair and he had gone into his room, gotten his pacifier then brought it back to me and said, "I found my paci!" That's a complete sentence in my book. He is currently getting all his incisor teeth in so he's almost got a full mouth of teeth. He still loves playing outside, playing with friends (which knows by name Chase, Emma, Conner, Haylie, Kayla, Peyt, Savannah and Kate and usually cries or is at least sad when they have to leave) watching movies and he still LOVES animals, stuffed, plastic, real, whatever. He is now to the point where he will sometimes ask for specific food, usually, yogurt, cheese, milk, juice, water, crackies, raisies, and snacks (fruit snacks). Most people think it's strange I give him so many hair cuts but they don't understand how fast his hair grows. I literally cut this much off at least once a month, if not a little more often.
