Busy Bee!

I'm such a hot/cold blogger...for which I apologize to my friends who send hate mail to update. But I just get so busy and then when I have a free moment, its not usually spent blogging.

Starting with Easter...my mom was in town for one of her best friend's son's weddings for just a few days. I had been planning on going to Fallon for a while to see my parents new business they are opening and offer any help I could (considering my parents will drive 8 hours at the drop of a hat if we are in need of their help). So I decided to drive home with my mom and then fly back. Here is a picture of Easter morning. The Easter bunny went a little over board on hiding Easter eggs for a 1-year old. He picked up about 4 and was done. Sorry bunny, maybe next year your efforts will be appreciated.
But he loved the toys!!

I couldn't dedicate my whole trip to helping with a 1 year old in tow but I did help cutting her fabric for curtains, covers, and anything else she was making. Plus I brought dinner to them every night, and did the dishes so they came home to a clean house. Co had a blast playing with Roxy my parents tea cup poodle (she kept following her around saying "ride, ride" haha, sorry coco, you're a little too big!) loved running around outside playing at their "park" they have some toys that are actually from a park all set up at their house. He ran around crazy helping Papa at the Health Center and gym. All the ladies that came to the gym loved him. And he especially loved the bunnies that visit Grandma and Papa's backyard...every time Co talked about the bunnies he'd say "He's fast!" We came home just in time for Josh's birthday. Co loved daddy's airplane birthday cake! I spent the next week getting back into the swing of things and preparing for bunco at my house. Then preparing for our semi-annual activity day activity for the girls and their mom's.
Watching Tarzan on the treadmill and yoga mat at the gym. He loved this!

Helping Papa set up the Infared Sauna. He stayed busy running the empty halls and eating Papa's lunch! Co has been a on plane 2 other times but was too small to remember or realize what was going on. He thought the plane was pretty cool and was VERY good, and super friendly to everyone sitting around us. He repeatedly told them Hi, until they responded. Thankfully, the flight wasn't full so he was able to sit next to me in his own seat. He colored, watched a movie and ate LOTS of snacks. He also liked to look out the window.
What else have I been doing that has kept me from my blogging duties? Sewing! I've really gotten into it lately. I don't LOVE to sew, I just love the end result and maybe it's my frugal upbringing but when I see something that looks like a rip-off and easy enough for me to make...I've decided to make it myself, and so far, I've been successful. Sewing project pictures to come.
