Colorado

Our trip started in Colorado with my sister's little boy Jake's baby blessing. We left late Friday night and got there about midnight. The next morning the kids went on a little scavenger walk. The picture of all of the kids in their 4th of july shirts is right before the walk. All the kids are my brother-in-laws side of the family. Cohen had fun playing with them all. After the hike we spent the whole day at Brandon's Aunt and Uncle's pool. Their set-up is awesome. They have a normal pool and then a little kiddie pool right next to it that is perfect for Co's age. He LOVED it and cried when I put him down for a nap 3 hours late and then kept asking to get back in after his nap. He had been taking swim lessons prior to our trip so he showed everyone he could float on his back. He loved to hold his breath in the kiddie pool and walk his hands along the bottom until he got to the other side. They also had a slide into the big pool that he loved. They have a HUGE patio and we all enjoyed being outside all day, eating YUMMY food. We decided to stay an extra day and go to this place called the Moon Farm. It is a bit run down but Co didn't know the difference. They have probably 20+ little houses all decorated for different coutries or themes. This castle is one of them. Josh and I were blown away by all the work put into the place. They also have farm animals that Co LOVED, we spent at least 40 min walking back and forth through them (horses, a cow, goats, chickens, peacocks, bunnies, ponies, and geese. Then to top it all off we rode the carousel that you run yourself. Its an old lady who owns the place so you just pay her when you get there and help yourself to anything they have to offer. Unfortunately none of the ponies were hooked up when we were there.
